-Keep calm and call the police in time
After finding out that you have been scammed, the first thing to do is to keep your wits about you, don’t get into a panic because of momentary anger and anxiety and delay the best time to report to the police. You should know that the longer you delay, you are likely to miss the best time for investigation and emergency stop payment.
-Preserve evidence and hand it over to the police
Even if you are furious after being scammed, don’t pull the plug/delete the relevant information of the victim and the relevant chatting/transferring records in the midst of irritation!!!! Keep – good key evidence.
-Trust the police and report truthfully
Some victims may feel remorseful and ashamed because they have been defrauded by the Internet, so much so that they hide the facts of the case when they report it to the police. This will make it more difficult for the public security organs to solve the case, in order to catch the suspect as soon as possible to recover losses, please report the case in a timely manner, and truthfully reflect the case to the police.
-Be wary of “secondary fraud”.
Please call the police through the phone by dialing 110 and other formal police channels, do not believe the so-called “Internet police”, “lawyers”, “hackers”, etc., the real police will not be through the phone, social networking software for cases, not to mention a variety of social networking software to handle cases. The real police will not handle the case by phone, social software, not to mention all sorts of reasons to the masses to transfer money remittances. For claiming to be able to help recover the loss of the “hacker”, the company, are fraud, do not believe that the other side of any words, to avoid being cheated twice.
